Hi Friends!
We recently had a visit from the Susan Marie Rupp Foundation members. Mrs. Rupp was an instructional assistant here at Bean who passed away from ovarian cancer. The foundation promotes ovarian cancer awareness and continues Mrs. Rupp's legacy of working with students through donations to our school.
Ruth McCullum was nice enough to come read a book to our kindergarten students. Then, she donated $500.00 to our school library on behalf of the foundation!
If you would like to participate in raising money to the Susan Marie Rupp Foundation, you can participate in the 5K run or 1 mile health walk. The run/walk will take place on April 30th at Overbrook High School. I hope to see you there!
