5th Grade Biography Projects
A few weeks ago in the library we had a special event! The students in the 5th grade had prepared presentations on famous people throughout history.
It took a lot of work to get ready! Students were required to read a biography on a famous person, as well as do research using websites and other books. Everyone worked hard reading, researching, and taking detailed notes.
Then, the students needed to put all that learning together into a speech! They used note cards or essays to help them remember what to say.
Look at all these note cards! These are just for ONE person's speech!
On the day of the presentations, the students came dressed to school as their famous person and with some props to use during their speeches. Everyone was nervous, but excited, too! Here are some pictures I was able to take:
